MT Stock

MT Stock is a web based merchandising system that can be accessed via the internet or intranet enabling a user to maintain stock levels and shelves.
This system was designed for a touch screen system but can also function on a mobile device.

 THE FOLLOWING PRIMARY/ KEY FEATURES ARE REQUIRED IN THE SYSTEM:

  • To capture and report on daily stock levels at stores around the country, based on:
    • a schedule of suppliers to be counted on certain days of the month;
    • a user selection of supplier(s);
    • a user selection of department or category;
    • a user selection of shelving units in the store;
  • To place orders electronically for stock based on stock on hand and model stock levels, either:
    • manually, whereby the user enters what stock to order, without advice from the system as to model and minimum stock;
    • automatically, whereby the system will generate orders depending on the stock on hand and the model stock for each item, suplier by supplier, and then prompt the user to edit and confirm the order(s);
  • To manage inventory and allocate items across all stores nationwide: where a master list of departments, items categories and items is definded, and then each item linked to a store type (for example store type A) at which point a model and minimum stock is specified;
    • A super user or head office user would define a general floor plan layout for each store type (for example store type A), an adjacency plan for each store type, and specify where and how to place stock items with regard to order, which may be predefined by the supplier;
    • A store manager would define the actual floor plan for their store, implement the adjacency plan to their layout, and then make any adjustments.

Stock counts can be setup for each day by Stock Item / Supplier / Department / Item Category to make stock counting easier.

With the required access rights image requests can be done from anywhere in the world. This enables a Manager to monitor the shelves and even his staff.

 MT Stock has some useful reports that makes it easier to have an overall view of the sales and of items that needs to be re-ordered.

Another feature of MT Stock is the messaging system that allows any of the users to communicate without using an email system or phone.
This will help to speed up communications as there is no delay with message delivery.
