Newsletter 1st March 2010
05.03.10
We are close to the end of the first quarter of 2010! The days are surely getting shorter as autumn is around the corner.
The Minesoft team did a bit of teambuilding on 27 February in the form of paintball. We won’t mention which team was the winner, but if each one had to count their bruises, there would definitely be NO winner!! Stephan Fourie came to the conclusion that he is not the favourite in the office, considering all his bruises...Ruan Meyer surely took the most shots as he looked like a painting after combat. Deon van Niekerk realised that after forty, age does matter as the youngsters Johan and Riaan showed him a thing or two. Anthony Reff is the only one without any injuries. Is it perhaps because he could hide so well? We hope to do this in the near future again, as it was very positive and enjoyable.
Congratulations to all the new appointments which are all affective from the first of March.
Deon van Niekerk is now officially a Director and Travers Le Roux is Software Architect, managing the software development of Minesoft.
Charles Muller and Travers Le Roux are currently in Peru at the Cerro Corona mine’ busy with the updating and training of the RES system. They will be back by middle March. Good luck to them as we know that there was a huge earthquake in Chile the past weekend.
